A free click and collect option is available from our Lymington showroom. Please give 24 hours notice so we can prepare your item. Items must be collected within 14 days.

For any made to order items, an estimated delivery time of 12-16 weeks applies. Upon receiving your order we will advise you by email a more accurate delivery date subject to our shipping schedule. What type of finish is applied to the surface of the wood?

Each d-Bodhi product is sold as unfinished. During the preparation and treatment of the wood carefully selected for this item, each piece is soaked in a bath, which evens out the colour tones of the different pieces used, which in turn creates a darker look.

What happens when I spill something on the surface is it stain resistant?

Teak is a hardwood and whilst the liquid will not penetrate, it will show on the surface. To avoid stains, immediately wipe the whole surface of the furniture equally (not just the spill area) with a damp cloth.

What guarantee do I have the wood will not expand or split?

It is important to remember that the timber used is reclaimed, natural hardwood. Whilst the timber is well seasoned, it remains a natural product and may experience movements and cracking throughout its lifetime. Such imperfections should be accepted in context of the rustic characteristic of the item you a purchasing. We recommend that you avoid placing your furniture in rooms that may experience extreme temperature or humidity changes, as this may cause excessive timber movements and cracking. Do not place your furniture near heat sources, radiators or air conditioning units and protect from prolonged sunlight. Please also consider under floor heating may have some impact on areas of direct contact.
