Born in the summer of 2014, the story of BluBambu Living started during a two-year relocation to Singapore and what was to become our gateway to the rest of Asia. Weekends were spent venturing off, mini adventures to discover those little hidden gems off the beaten tourist track.

Indonesia soon became a second home, all too easy to slip into the idyllic lifestyle where sun, surf, a buzzing culture and friendly smiles made you all too welcome.

No longer drawn by just the sandy beaches, but the discovery of this rustic, exciting and inspiring furniture scene. A humble, eco-friendly approach to creating these unique pieces, yet forward thinking and intuitive in giving a new life to these reclaimed materials.

BluBambu Living embarks on a journey to share a little taste of the far east, and for those who seek, a piece of furniture that you’ll not only love, but will undoubtedly become a talking point in your wonderful home or business. Managed with passion and belief, we (team husband and wife) personally select 100 percent of the products we feature and import directly from suppliers we know and trust across Indonesia.

The name BluBambu was inspired by one of the iconic symbols of the Far East, Bamboo, combined with the stunning blue waters of the UK’s South Coast and with that, BluBambu Living was born.
